Hopefully Microsoft will release this game for the US. Apparently they are saying that is a Japanese exclusive, but they will release it if they don’t want Geekboy kicking their arse. This was one of my favorite arcade games. Anyway, read more about it here.

An arcade style game, you need to drink as many drinks as you can.
Play here.
I found a cool How-To while browsing Ubuntuforums.org the other day. It’s a how-to for setting up Continuum, a great game from back in the day. Any pc running Ubuntu will have not problems running this game. It’s a mutliplayer Asteriod / Space war style game, and it’s a blast to play. If your looking to kill some time definitly check out this game.

Winterbells is a cool little flash game. ~Loke, a user from Ubuntuforums.org, posted it. Basically, your a rabbit bouncing off bells. You add 10 points to each bells score everytime you hit one. Birds will double the points.

Its return to the console was announced back in May with a decent amount of hype for it’s Unreal 3 engine adoption, but then we heard absolutely nothing else and forgot it was coming. These new high res images will serve a good reminder — the game looks better than ever. It looks like Crysis with really shiny dinosaurs!

Plus, for about 30 bucks this games a steal. The few problems that I found was that just the same 2 maps play on servers that allow map voting. But there are some other servers that play the rotation. I’ve heard some people complain that no one talks during gameplay. I consider this a good thing. I’m sick of hearing some Pain in the Ass that talks too much on XBox Live.
I got Call of Duty for the XBox 360 on Christmas. This game is so much fun. The graphics are great and the gameplay is even better. I like the fact that it is not very realistic. It’s more arcadey (is that a word??
). They also have a health system just like Halo, just find cover and wait to heal. This keeps the game moving.
Singleplayer is also a lot of fun. You really feel like you are in a middle of an all out battle. There action going on all over the place. There really isn’t that much of a story, but that’s not why I’m playing this game. All I really want to do is shoot lots of Nazis.
Multiplayer is a blast. I love Capture the Flag. They break out the weapons into standard classes, each with there own strengths and weaknesses. It is also very easy to get a game going with XBox Live.
Overall, I highly recommend this game. I give this 2 thumbs up! ( I need to come up with some geek rating system
).
It seems like I was a very good boy for Santa this year. I awoke Christmas morning only to discover that he left me a nice little present under the tree this year. I got a XBox 360 premium edition. I was so happy.
I then set up the XBox only to be greeted with a lovely message. I was getting an Error Code 67
. I did some research on the web only to discover that the error code was my Hard Drive. The Xbox worked fine without the Hard Drive, I just couldn’t save games. I reseated the drive but the error code was persistent, it returned. I was left playing the first few levels of Call of Duty 3 over and over again (awesome game though).
So, I take back the defective unit. There were over 20 other xboxs behind the customer service desk (did I buy a piece of shit? I hope not). The new XBox worked fine. This thing rocks! And I love XBox Live. My only complaint is how loud it is. It sounds like a jet engine taking off. Now I need to get a HDTV to really enjoy the graphics.
